In this installment of Behind the Scenes with Accountable, we’re delighted to introduce Jim Fraser, the IT Support Manager who’s been a cornerstone of our IT department for over a decade. Jim brings a blend of expertise and enthusiasm to everything he does, ensuring that Accountable stays connected and secure.

Jim has been with Accountable for 11 years, having transitioned from previous roles at Medical Staffing Network and Solvere One. He describes joining Accountable as an opportunity that has brought him unparalleled happiness, largely due to the fantastic team dynamics and the mutual support that characterizes our workplace culture.

Since 2007, Jim’s career has revolved around IT, mainly on Windows applications. He’s the mastermind managing our Microsoft Azure and Office 365 admin consoles, a crucial role in enabling the team to perform efficiently and effectively.

When he’s not optimizing our IT infrastructure, Jim enjoys the simpler life pleasures like visiting local breweries, watching sports, and spending quality time with his family. Whether he’s rooting for the Miami Heat or relaxing by the pool, he cherishes these moments of leisure and connection.

Jim’s passion for travel highlights another facet of his personality. He and his wife make it a tradition to explore new destinations each year, with recent trips including a cruise to the Bahamas and plans for an upcoming adventure in Ireland.

For entertainment, Jim is your go-to for series recommendations, especially in the Sci-Fi and Fantasy realms. His current favorites include "House of the Dragon" and "Kaos." Music also plays a significant role in his life, with bands like Coheed and Cambria and 311 topping his list. Attending live concerts is a joy for him, the most memorable being when he met the lead singer of Sevendust—a small-world moment, as the singer’s mother works with his wife!

At work, Jim finds the greatest satisfaction in solving problems. He loves troubleshooting and the sense of accomplishment that comes from resolving those pesky IT issues that can so often disrupt a day’s work.

Jim is also passionate about civic engagement, emphasizing the importance of voting, especially in local elections that directly affect the community. He advocates for making the most of the ample opportunities to vote, stressing the impact these decisions have on our immediate environment.
