In this edition of Behind the Scenes with Accountable, we're excited to introduce Joye Beasley, our Compliance Specialist in the Tulsa HR - Travel Division. Since joining Accountable Healthcare in June 2012, Joye has been a vital part of our team, ensuring that nurses, techs, and aides meet all requirements to work in participating healthcare facilities.

Joye's role involves assisting healthcare professionals in completing compliance documentation, coordinating with various facilities, and ensuring all credentials are up-to-date. Her meticulous attention to detail and dedication ensure that our travelers are well-prepared for their assignments.

Before joining Accountable, Joye worked as a dispatcher for her local town police and held positions in the Booking, Release, and Warrants Divisions at a major city detention center. Seeking a change from the high-intensity law enforcement environment, she found her perfect fit with our team.

Outside of work, Joye is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping, kayaking, and hiking. A passionate NASCAR fan, she and her family have attended races in ten states. A highlight was celebrating her 60th birthday in Nashville, where she met her hometown driver, Christopher Bell.

An interesting fact about Joye is that she began jogging at 48 and has since completed five marathons, including her last at age 60, as well as multiple half-marathons and other races. Notably, she ran a 5K at Bristol Motor Speedway, experiencing the steep inclines of the track firsthand.

Joye is also dedicated to a natural lifestyle, crafting homemade salves, lotions, soaps, shampoos, and cleaning products to reduce the use of toxic chemicals in her home.

Her favorite book is "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed, a story that resonated so deeply with her that she watched the movie while following along with the book.

For Joye, the best part of her job is collaborating with the travel division team and interacting with diverse travelers, facilities, and vendor management systems. She finds satisfaction in data entry and ensuring all processes run smoothly.

Joye and her husband, Jerry, will celebrate 35 years of marriage in March. They have three children—Candice, Alison, and Miles—and are proud grandparents to Nathan, Lexie, and Jameson. Their household also includes two German Shepherds, Cato and Jemma.

Joye's dedication, adventurous spirit, and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable member of the Accountable Healthcare family. We're grateful for her contributions and proud to have her on our team!
