In this edition of Behind the Scenes with Accountable, we’re excited to introduce Rae Cox, our Sr. Contract Coordinator in the Travel Division. Since joining Accountable Healthcare in August 2021, Rae has been a crucial part of our team, bringing precision, dedication, and a unique touch to everything she does.

Rae oversees temporary employee assignment confirmations and manages the Travel Division’s database of clients and contract terms. Her favorite part of the job? Discovering hidden gems in contracts that make processes smoother for everyone—a skill she compares to solving puzzles.

Her path to Accountable is as impressive as her work. With a background as a legal assistant, Rae has spent years mastering attention to detail, maintaining records, and analyzing regulations. A significant chapter of her career involved helping veterans secure compensation for service-connected disabilities, a role that deeply resonates with her commitment to making a difference.

Outside of work, Rae is equally inspiring. She spends her time with her husband, three dogs, and a cat, diving into her passion for herbalism. Crafting skincare recipes and even cutting her hair, Rae blends creativity and resourcefulness in her personal life. She’s also an avid fan of Mary Oliver’s poetry, Doctor Who, and the poignant film What Dreams May Come.

At the heart of Rae’s approach to life and work is a quote by Maya Angelou: “Your legacy is every life you touch.” She carries this philosophy into her work at Accountable and her interactions with those around her.
