Daisy Award Winner – Michele Walsh
Accountable Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with the DAISY Foundation™, a globally recognized program that celebrates nurses' exceptional care and compassion toward patients and their families. It's our honor to award Michele Walsh the DAISY Award, celebrating her outstanding contribution to nursing.
Michele joined our team in 2019, primarily serving in the Operating Room (OR), and has been an integral part of the Rush University medical team since early 2020. Her performance has consistently surpassed expectations across all areas, showcasing her dedication and excellence in her field.
Known for her flexibility, especially when accommodating the needs of our significant University client, Michele has proven herself to be an invaluable team player. Her managers continually praise her team spirit and her ability to collaborate effectively.
Michele's responsiveness and overall pleasant demeanor make her an absolute joy to work with. She embodies the qualities we seek in our team members and sets a high standard for professionalism and compassion. Her commitment to excellence is a testament to the quality of care our clients and their patients receive.
We couldn't ask for a more deserving recipient of the DAISY Award in our Chicago team. Michele's dedication elevates patient care and inspires her colleagues to strive for the same level of passion and excellence in their work.
The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the auto-immune disease ITP in 1999. During his hospitalization, Patrick’s family deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown not only to Patrick but to all of them as well. When he passed, they felt compelled to say “thank you” to nurses in a very public way.
